Thank you Liam. Great article.
Steamplay is the breakout of the chicken and egg problem.
For myself, I play mostly old Windows games now. Dishohored, Batman Arkham Asylum etc. Finally all on Linux!
Edit: not to forget Skyrim SE

Quoting: MalVery OT question. My 2 xbone s controllers stopped to work with steam link last week. They pair with BT just fine but then whatever key I press nothing happens. Forget and re pair doesn't help. I didn't have the time to troubleshot the issue seriously but it doesn't hurt to ask if anyone else had this issue too.Try installing xpadneo.

We did not exclude any patents from our OIN commitment to license our portfolio to the Linux System. We signed the standard OIN License Agreement, and didn’t negotiate any exclusions. We actually clicked through the OIN agreement like any other licensee!

Quoting: F.UltraThanks. Full ack on this.Quoting: razing32the CoC Linux added seems to value politics over code quality. Please stop listening to the trolls. There is nothing in the CoC that says that you must accept code from people, all it dictates is the way you reply when you e.g reject a patch. There is no coup going on in the Kernel either, it's not the foundation that says that Linus is taking a sabbatical, it's Linus himself.

Microsoft (monopoly) has damaged IT evolution as whole dramatically. There is nothing Microsoft can do to rewind the hands of time.
Therefore, no trust from me for Microsoft, never, whatever they'll do under this company name, and I consider myself as open minded in comparison to the "no tux no bux" fraction.
Ont thing is for sure: Microsoft will not make open source better than it has become. So please stay away, dear MS parasites.
Edit: typo

Quoting: toorBut I don't really understand the effort that was put into it. Isn't Unity supposed to be kind of a one-push-button-port from the first place? Are there a lot of windows specific third parties in this game? That's also my question. Unity game ported by Feral!?
