Quoting: flesk...That's true, but I'd be a bit bummed if I had severe issues with something I really wanted to play though. The most disappointing fact to me was that bugs in Gone Home, though well described by many linux users in the steam forum, have not been fixed since release in August 2013.

I'm on a GTX760 now, was on GTS450 (which rox), and always had problems with unity games. But I gotta admit that I don't tweak my system for one special game. Either it works or I play another. We have a wide choice of good games on Linux and especially Gone Home was a Sale, so I don't bother.

Quoting: flesk...Do you know if it's an issue that's specific to certain kinds of GPUs and Linux or is it a more widespread issue? Could be that it's just not very noticeable on my rig. Either way I hope it's something that gets fixed in the near future since there's so many neat games coming out these days that are built in Unity. What are your specs?

This looks really nice, but Unity engine? I bought many Unity-based games like Rochard, Kerbal Space Program, Gone Home, The Fall, Shadowrun Returns, Wastelands 2.. and all of the games have issues like horrible screen tearing at least. Gone Home is not playable for me at all (tried several workarounds). KSP needs manual fixing of mouse sensitivity and a launch option, and so on.. I'll have to wait and take a very close look at the steam forum before I buy the next unity game for linux.
Edit: I'm on Kubuntu 14.10

I preordered, though I didn't like Borderlands 1. But I like BL2 and the Linux support for TPS on day one even more. So why not show Aspyre a little love after Civ V and BL2 and PREORDER NOW!

Great video as always, thanks Samsai! I played the first on the xbox360 but didn't like it on console back then. BL2 really got me this time, 45 hours so far and not one crash (ok, I had this main menu crash, but it has been fixed very fast).

I used ATI/AMD many years ago (5+), my opinion wouldn't be much of help now :) It would be not good anyway.
