Puppy Games Aren't Impressed With Linux Sales (UPDATED)
8 Sep 2014 at 8:02 pm UTC

1. their games were never advertised well in steam. i discovered this developer after receiving a coupon for ultratron.
2. their games are very simple, porting costs were not too high with good dev skills. <10.000 is good. my opinion.

overall sales number would also be interesting.

Quoting: GuestThe first one still crashes when I try to enter the options (on Arch Linux).
That's a common problem with their previous games running on Ogre3D, but it can be avoided by disabling the Steam overlay.
Unfortunately disabling the overlay doesn’t help…
Try this fix, it worked for me:

GOL Asks Again: What Have You Been Playing Recently?
23 Aug 2014 at 10:43 pm UTC Likes: 1

Don't Starve! Until a friend challenged me, I didn't play it. But then... this game is crazy. It's mean, it steals too much time. Klei Quality!

PS: Klei will release "Don't starve Together", a long desired multiplayer mod by the community, though Klei only wanted to make Single Player games. The Multiplayer Mod will be free for owners of Dont Starve, but the price of the game will increase to 19,99 € (now 14,99).

The Witcher 3 For Linux Remains Officially Unconfirmed

I hoped to hear something about their new engine and OpenGL compatibility, even if the TW3 Linux realease will be delayed. Nothing about that, so it sounds like almost no hope for a proper native game to me. Will CDPR be treating Linux again as a 2nd class platform? Seems so.

Also, I'm curious who is responsible for that banner..

It Seems AMD May Still Bring The Mantle Graphics API To Linux
18 Jun 2014 at 1:44 pm UTC

Though I still remain critical about AMD and linux, it's good to hear they put some work in to improve linux gaming.

One more quote:
"Windows currently offers a better gaming experience than Linux, but Steam could change that."

It will.
