GOG to go through some reorganization after suffering losses

Is really sad news for me, the only store that I buy games is GOG. I don't have thousand of games I only have a few selected games, because time is scarce and why buy something that I will not use. The killer feature for me is that I have the game in my power, I don't depend that the "cloud" is working that day, I can install in any of my machines. Yes, is been a hassle installing them sometimes but PlayOnLinux or Lutris is always making life easy.
What is really bad for me is that always people tend to compare to Valve, Valve is a monopoly in the gaming scene, they can do whatever they want whenever they want it. They have the 75% market share on 2013 and the number are not open (Is a for profit company after all, and doing really good).
The really important thing is that we need diversity, we need more stores that give us choices. That's what good for us the consumers, and yes easy is good but sometimes is Free as in Beer nothing more.

Is interesting what this type of content brings... For me I tend to search more about the topic why she is the devil ? Here in South America she is the monster of the Malvinas War (Falkland Islands) in some parts, and in other was the person that made possible to buy advanced medical stuff and technology (lifted the arms and technology embargo in Chile).
I have read her Wikipedia [External Link] after watching The Crown (Very entertaining series! Almost historically accurate) and still can't decide what to think about her. I have seen some Ken Loach films about England and after leaving a while next door of England I have to say that like life she is gray, will have people that love her and ones that hate her, and a lot of people in the middle.
I really hope that on the project page have a section that say why he thinks that, if that was the case at least could learn another perspective of what happen to someone.

I have to say that I understand the developers, they have touch a really sore subject... In Germany for generations the people have not speak about the war, was the shame of the country so people didn't speak about it. Until the 2013 with Generation War wasn't a film or tv serie that shows what happen on the russian campaing wikipedia [External Link].
So when they change it they take a step to the side and not make the work of six years fall in a place that will be judged because they touch a sore subject and not the content of it.
Change is coming, slowly like always when there is no willing to acknowledge past mistakes but two years ago the remove from the ban list Wolfestein 3d [External Link].
Just in case this is a personal opinion from talking with a lot of German people, young and old.

Been using XFCE since Xubuntu 12.04 LTS after the Unity fiasco of Canonical and then in Linux Mint XFCE, I mainly use my computer for work and with XFCE I have a light environment that just work in each release.
Have try KDE Neon for a while and I was surprise that was more lightly that I remember KDE I just have to spend time to make it work with all the options, GNOME 3 is a memory hog in comparison.
Kudos for the XFCE team!

Regards
sudo apt install apt-file
sudo apt-file update
apt-file search libpng12.so.0
if it finds it, install that package, if not then yeah you'll need to compile it.
