Whether or not I use Claude is not going to change societyIf you then push that code in a GitHub repository, it definitely will, as AI is trained on GitHub repositories.

It makes sense if you consider that Americans BigTechs (Apple, Google and Microsoft) are trying to lobbying all the Governments worldwide for their anti-competitive practices.
Comment found it on the web:

Since Apple and Google convinced the whole world that "app stores" are the only way to install software, that means according to politicians, every computer must verify age. For the app store that everyone must be using. And that was the only sensible comment I spotted on that thread. I would just add Microsoft to the list, as they are still trying to enforce their ecosystem (failing repeatedly of course, but still trying).
An app store is an anti-competitive moat, designed to use censorship to optimize the profits of a company. The government has now enshrined into law a protection for these quasi-monopolies. Of course "they're not a monopoly" because "there are two companies". But we didn't used to need app stores at all. Computers used to allow anyone to install and run anything they wanted. Not anymore though. You will only do what The Companies allow you to, because Profits.

And yet we can't see if the Windows 10 End of Support has given any effect. I doubt it, but it would be interesting to see.

I'm fine with that, although I agree that this is not the best solution ever.
Best one IMHO would be to have a 2FA Web app under the gov.uk domain. This could be then consumed as a standard by all the services and websites who sell mature content.

On Prince of Persia The Lost Crown I remember I used to open the game online and then shut down the WiFi while in-game. Would it work also with AC Shadows?

Seriously, by reading the reports at that time, just minor issues were reported on vkd3d-proton concerning Mirage. It was not the mess of a brand new architecture like at the time of Valhalla.

Bought immediately yesterday night (also because of the 50% discount). I have played the tutorial part and it looks alright. What surprised me the most was how all the things have progressed in the last 7 years:
- Origins wasn't performing that great at launch.
- Odyssey was alright but it had plenty of crashes and stuttering issues.
- Valhalla was a DX12 only game and it came at that time that vkd3d-proton was under development and tuning, and there where some manual adjustements to do in order to make it work.

Will this issue affect also multiplayer-only games such as Helldivers 2? Because Sony will definitely put the same PSN integration in previously released games. The recent stepping back will be just temporary, in a way to keep a low profile on it.
