Valve's Steam Play should work better today, as DXVK was left in debug mode causing a performance drop

Quoting: johndoe86xThis is great! I was wanting to test out Prey 2016. I noticed that one of the testers commented "stutters every now and again." I think this is a game specific problem, as I get stutter every now and again in Windows as well. What would be the best way to relay that message?
You can send in your test for a game with a googleform which is linked at the top.
last checked the spreadsheet now has nearly 2000 entries.

Hey,

Ive tested Tharsis and Deus Ex Human Revolution yesterday, both ran flawless. ind DXHR i had some framedrops at the start.
I would be perfect if steamdb would add an steamplay tag, or winehq. a database where we can put together our test's.

found this link in a fresh HexDSL Video ;) There it is our own Database with tested windows games.

Albion Online 'Merlyn' update to release on July 31st with Faction Warfare
24 Jul 2018 at 3:37 pm UTC

@MKN-dev-LINUX Thx the flatpak Version i found on Github works (relatevly) well in Arch ;) so i can ditch my script and just use the flatpak for now.

@monkygames Hmm, i dont feel it is pay2win. you could stay on premium from ingame earned silver. and to compare it to EvE it's way easier to get there in a Month.
I know people that spent lots of money on cosmetic items in GW2 or even mobile games. For sure, having premium is an advantage, if this is pay2win OK, but you have the choice of paying monthly, or working ingame toward the renew of your subscription.
and the monthly fee isn't more than in other games.

And honestly, paying real (or sinking lots of) money to restore your gear ... Everybody doing this needs professional help! Its just a game, and when its not worth the money, don't spent it!

Albion Online 'Merlyn' update to release on July 31st with Faction Warfare

Hey,

because the lack of a good native MMO on Linux and this article i buyed albion yesterday from the storepage.
God, i'am not a noob but installing the Client on Arch wasn't an click and play thingie.

1. Launcher from AUR didn't install. (OK editing the pkgbuild and deleting !upx from the array worked.)
2. Launcher download driect from the site didn't worked either out of the box.
the https://forum.albiononline.com/index.php/Thread/54258-Tuto-Linux-Have-a-working-game/?pageNo=1 [External Link] Forum helped and i got the client working.

my question, are the devs aware that installing the game on linux is a non trivial tasks and they are the reason because the shiped libSDL is crap?

second if there is some kind of linuxguild or players iam absolute interrested in joining ;)
i cant promise how long or how much i play AO, it has it's charm esp. similiaries to EvE in a fantasyset but over the years a transformed into a casual player (thanks to GW2 on wine).
maybe a drop it after a month, maybe i sink my time completle in it ;)

cheers J.
