Quoting: tmtvlIf we have to select a distro to be the "default", I'd like to suggest Gentoo. We tend to be more aware of what can cause problems on our systems and how to fix it compared to people who run, say, Ubuntu and don't know half of what's installed on their machines. There are a copuple problems with that. One is that each individual Gentoo user can set different USE flags so software may be at the same version but be compiled with completely different options. Another is that you want to officially support the consumer version of the OS. Game companies support Windows Professional and Home not server. Same concept.

Actually, I haven't run into any games that said they supported gamepad that did not. Unfortunately, I have had a number of games that only support a Xbox360 for PC controller and mine are 3rd party USB PS3 controllers.

The NES represents a time when the emphasis was on the gameplay, fun, and story not graphics.
How many games released today will still be enjoyable 30 years later? People will still be playing NES games 30 years from now when they are 60 years old.
Nothing says fun like Crystalis. I have beat that game more times than I can count. At least 20 maybe 50 times. In fact it made me fall in love with Action RPG games.

I'm not surprised. Disappointed, but not surprised. Isn't this the second or third title that Warner wouldn't let release for Linux? I think Warner wants all the AAA titles they publish to wait for the official SteamOS launch to release for Linux.
