Gonna stick with my original theory that their internal communication is about as reliable and well informed as their external channels -w-

Good on them, though I've already beaten it and it doesn't seem like a game I'd play more than once. Currently playing through the Uncharted series on PS4 and it's very similar, and they're both very popcorn-fun games. Though to TR's credit it shows a lot of polish and learning from it's predecessors :)

I was always pretty meh about IM. Maybe it's the theme, as I feel like space marines have been done a few times [External Link], and usually they aren't the real focus cause they're not that interesting (e.g. the aliens in Aliens, the halo and aliens in Halo, hell and al- er, demons in Doom, etc.).
According to Deep Silver the new editions of Dead Island are not coming to Linux

Pfft, Techland e_e It wouldn't surprise me if they just didn't bother telling their publisher, or maybe they don't know it's being worked on themselves cause it's Techland. Bitter? Moi? :woot: Probably; I never got over Dying Light, as it was my first day-one $60 purchase on Linux. Then there's Dead Island, which at least was playable, but if I recall had major bugs the first few months of release.
Granted, the games themselves aren't really my cup of tea, very BorderLands-y, at least the BL people arranged for proper support.

I finished the first, and was quite enamoured with the experience ^^ I do worry, as I do with all sequels, how they'll improve upon the predecessor, but I guess we'll see :B

This is why people should not think of crowd funding as preordering, and more think of it as being a patron of the arts. The point of donating is to help get something get created that otherwise may not have been, it's a risk and people certainly shouldn't donate if they're looking for a sure thing.

I don't care much for the devs, but it is an interesting social experiment o3o To paraphrase Extra Credits [External Link], who covered Rust when they did the random race assignment, if you can't relate to your character because they're not white dude in a 1st person game, imagine how everyone else must feel about gaming as a whole.

Huh, the only other game I can think of that uses AGS for something else would be Consuming Shadow by Yahtzee Croshaw, unfortunately he didn't port it to Linux. This looks like my kind of came though; wishlisted ^^
