Valve have released some interesting statistics about controller use

Quoting: sarmadIt's been many years since the Steam Controller has released and on Linux it still doesn't work out-of-the-box, at least on Ubuntu it doesn't. You always have to tweak system configuration files to get the controller to work.
My experience is absolutly different. I use Ubuntu and the Steam controller worked without tweaking config files. I just installed the package steam-devices.

SC Controller driver and UI version 0.4.5 is out, last release for a while

I fully understand him. The CoC is made by the person saying that:

I can’t wait for the mass exodus from Linux now that it’s been infiltrated by SJWs. Hahahah

after the CoC was taken to the Linux kernel.

Source [External Link]

Sure, this is a violation of the CoC (welcoming language). But doesn`t matter, it was one of the good(TM) people. And perhaps she/it/*? will never contribute code to linux kernel. So it`s ok?
I think these SJW people are like cancer. They don't behave like people, who want to make the world a better place. I have the feeling, its more like STASI.
Be welcoming to everyone sounds good. But it seems to mean, "for everyone the SJWs don`t dislike"... and the CoC is the ammo they need against people they dislike.

Very sad

What are you clicking on this weekend and what do you think about it?

Actually I will play Stellaris.
I bought it nearly one year ago and started my first game 2 weeks ago.
It's really a great game. But it does also suck time like a vacuum....

GOG have gone on the offensive with their new 'FCK DRM' initiative

I don`t trust them.
I AFAIK the witcher 2 and 3 where Denuvo tempered.

Cyberpunk will surely not be DRM free in the first weeks.

I can`t remember that CDPR does something for Linux since the one port of Witcher 2.

So no Bucks from me. (Except old games for less then 5€ to try them on wine - maybe there is no need for this anymore because of Proton)

Daedalic Entertainment's futuristic thriller 'State of Mind' is out with day-1 Linux support

Perhaps the people who like the game, can now give positive reviews. And in this reviews you can tell (in the first line?) that it runs great on Linux.

Open-world vehicle builder 'TerraTech' has left Early Access

Quoting: Cyril
Quoting: Alm888It has left not only "Early Access" but the GOG store as well [External Link]. :(

Just a quick reminder: never pre-order, never pay for Early Access. ;)
Fuck! And no DRM-Free build on Humble Bundle... :|
This time it's not just bad for Linux users, but for all platforms.
Sorry, but I can`t see a disadvantage in the missing GOG support. I really don`t understand, that Linuxers buy at GOG. I have never heard of GOG (CDPR) doing anything for Linux.
Have you heard of them paying Linux devs, or bringing any games (after witcher 2) to Linux? Is there a GOG Linuxclient? Do you think Cyberpunk will make its way to Linux?!

I buy all my games for Linux on Steam. DRM free would be better, but what would Linuxgaming be without valve and what would it be without GOG?

Linuxers should support the devs or companys that support Linux. IMHO GOG is not one of these.

Talking point: Leaving user reviews for Linux games can really help a developer

Giving Reviews is a really good point. I do that mostly and state in the first line, that it runs good on linux (if this is true).

But I am oftenly disapointed from the linux community. When I remember the ARMA 3 thread, where a dev asks us, to give him feedback in Discord.... Most of the answers where made just here and not in the Discord channel.
As the dev I would think: When it`s not worth the Linuxers time to answer here, why should my time be spent on supporting them.... (and no, it will not be money....)

We are a minority that can be happy to be supported. Even if we pay the same price as a Win user, we should always remember, that the dev wont get a lot of money, if he supports linux. So we should be able to thank the dev for supporting us, even if it's not perfect.
