This bloody epic game gets more content! but as previous posters has stated... now i don't feel like completing my run. aaaa what the hell, i will prolly replay it several times anyways :) love the game, great port/linux build. i have had zero issues with it, and it has been running smother than on windows eventhough it seems it runs via a wrapper.

The Reason Some Games Are Delayed For Linux In Humble Indie Bundles

I have remembered for months and months and months, and talked to icculus about the version being incorrect... bugs with gamepads and local players joining, seg faults etc. he said it will get done... at some point... might be a few years tho at this pace.

Quoting: Anonymous"Remember Dungeon Defenders!"Quoting: alexThunderHas anyone get Splot yet? ;-)Quoting: SilviuI think you need some relaxing tea :PAgreed :) As long these ports aren't delayed for several years, I'm fine with it.
I think good games don't age. And there are other games to play in the meantime.
Will Vessel be complete someday?
Remember Dungeon Defenders!
And Remember the ***** wine ports like LIMBO.
HIB does a gret job for us. But sometimes I think, that they don't love their linux custumers very much.

game is cool, and the universe it beautiful. camera controls and fighting controls are quirky at best... the "harvesting" of plants and trees is also a bit awkward.... some other minor quirks aswell, but if they get them sorted this will be a bloody excellent game.
edit:: also i needed to do change locale in terminal else it would not find prefabs for some reason.

Linux Game Sales Statistics From Multiple Developers
20 Jan 2014 at 9:56 pm UTC
20 Jan 2014 at 9:56 pm UTC
Quoting: Quote from liamdawei think one reason for the .4% on rust is due to the fact that it is still pretty flawed for linux, and this is obvious in the forums, wich might scare some people away. when they iron out the controller/interface issues i think sales will go up quite alot. however, i have been a happy camper (even with minor flaws) since they released it for the penguin :)Quoting: Quote from Half-ShotWell, that just tells you just how far that 2% in the hardware stats goes. Really interesting read and I didn't realise how larger share Linux had of games. Even rust is a good number, since that's sold in the 100,000s already so its going really well.Indeed, looking at Garry's blog considering how many they have sold (over 150,000 in the first two weeks), let's add another two weeks worth to 300,000 and keep it there up to today at that figure (it could easily be more by now).
They said their Linux base is about 0.4% so when you do the workings out if we didn't go any higher than 0.4% on Rust and with Steam's takings over 30% then Rust has easily made at least £12,500 from Linux gamers alone.
Let me put that into perspective for you, that's since 11th December 2013 just over a month ago.
I hope other developers take notice, a small market share doesn't mean crap earnings.
