Quoting: liamdaweSounds interesting, has a good few graphical features and general gameplay features not in Minecraft, an actual modding API and so on. Added to my list to keep track of.I definitely enjoy it! It's not as hardcore as TFC which is great. By the way, if you'd like to see how it pays, I have a series [External Link] going.
Good first article! Had never heard of it :)

I honestly can't wait for the 1.0 release. I'm glad they're integrating the food restrictions mod. It's quite a necessity in some difficulties. I see people don't want to pay nearly $30 for the game because it's an indie game, but honestly? I struggle to think of any other indie game that is actually worth that kind of money.
By the way, if you'd like to see how it plays before buying, I have multiple series: alpha 16 [External Link], beta 18 [External Link], and beta 19 [External Link] (which will be updated to 1.0).

Action survival game 'Sipho' has you grow your own organism as you fight and it seems interesting

Quoting: razing32Looks like the first stage of Spore on steroids. That's what I thought too! It's great because that was my favorite stage of Spore.
Not saying that's a bad thing.

Quoting: NanobangI think you should do it, but keep it friendly and constructive.Quoting: liamdaweTruthfully, I've not always had a great experience with Lutris. The interface needs a lot of work to make it more friendly ...Same here. In fact, though I've no interest in making videos, I nevertheless seriously considered making one of me trying to use Lutris, so the devs could see what a confusing morass the UI was for a (or at least this) uninitiated user.
PlayOnLinux has a new alpha release out with an overhaul of the interface

It's a good thing that Lutris came along as well. I always thought that PoL was resting on its laurels a little when it came to the user experience.
I've honestly had much better results with Lutris, both in ease of use and actually having things work, so competition in the space seems healthy.

What an incredible mindset! I just wish more developers thought like this and tried to do things this way as much as possible.

Quoting: PhiladelphusThanks! Honestly, you're probably better off playing ZT on Wine somehow, since I doubt Zoo Tycoon will continue as a franchise :(Quoting: DraconicroseI've been following the development of this one for a while. It's funny, I really like it though it's a bit different than my usual games. Kinda reminds me of the old zoo tycoon: marine mania. :P Too bad we don't get whales. Anyway, just in case anyone is interested, have my let's play [External Link].I actually bought Zoo Tycoon (and its two expansions) after being inspired by visiting a zoo (the San Diego zoo, maybe?), and spent a lot of happy hours with it. This looks like a great game, I'll check out your Let's Play while I wait for it to return to Linux. :)

Weekends are actually pretty busy for me! Other than GW2 (on wine), I'll mostly be playing for my channel: Rimworld, Vintage Story, Papers, Please. During the week I'm looking forward to some more Graveyard Keeper and to showcase Megaquarium (embargo for videos lifts on the 12th!)

They sent me a key as well! It looks like they are trying to get their game showcased on Linux to get some support that way. So far it looks really good. People who like this type of game and have some bucks to throw around should go help their kickstarter.
