@Pikolo - "A well designed Digital ID would result in something exactly opposite"

Unfortunately, the UK government's idea of "well designed" is the antithesis of what would be useful to it's citizens. It is purely about authoritarian control.

Imagine the treasure trove up for grabs if digital IDs were to be implemented in the UK. And it will be grabbed, 100%. Hopefully the backlash against this will prove overwhelming and sanity will prevail.

Wine 10.16 released with fast synchronization support using NTSync

Just tried this with Stalker 2 -
kernel 6.16.10 ; Wine 10.16 ; GE-Proton10-17 ; ntsync module loaded (from kernel)
but only "fsync up and running", with and without "PROTON_USE_NTSYNC=1".

Any ideas?

Fallout: London mod gets a huge upgrade with "Rabbit & Pork"

That sounds like an incredible amount of work for a mod! I've still got Fallout 3 FNV to go before Fallout 4 and then this. I need more time!! :woot:

Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl finally gets night vision and more upgrades

Personally, I would have preferred they fixed A-life some more, rather than adding in extra missions (to get the night vis), fun though they are. NPCs still have x-ray vision in daylight and unnerving accuracy with a shotgun from way across the map!

Saying all that I'm have a blast with this game. They're continually enhancing modding support as well, so long term this will be one to keep returning to.

I use Pale Moon extensively and also a firejailed (and reset profile on exit) Firefox for "badly coded" or "throw away" sites.

I also have a Linux phone (FuriPhone FLX1) so I have no need for anything Google.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Legends of the Zone Trilogy gets a big upgrade and Steam Deck improvements

I've already played the three before moving on to Stalker 2. I enjoyed some great nostalgia revisiting SoC especially, as that had the greatest impact originally. CoP is pretty good as well.

I believe there's another patch out later this week-ish for Stalker 2, so looking forward to continual improvements there, as that game really needs them, although it's immense fun as it is already (I started from patch 1.5). Long term, with dev improvements and mods, that game's going to have longterm future. A-life needs the most work and I don't think the engine update is in the next patch.
