There's nothing "wrong" with the engine, they're upgrading to a newer version of Unreal Engine (5.5.4 ?). This will extend the range of the sight bubble for one thing, so that binoculars can be introduced and to help with immersion. The game is fantastic right now (bugfixes aside), so get stuck in!

I haven't played for a while. I've got 340 hours in so far but I'm waiting for the engine update to drop before I jump back in. Love this game, looking forward to playing this DLC. We've got years of play ahead with mods as well.

Something else... someone knocks out "their" game at the click of a button, tries to sell it and then the consumer comes back with a bug report - "crickets/tumbleweed".
