And nothing of value was lost. I absolutely detest the MOBA genre and HON was the absolute worst that I've tried. I don't know what it's like now, but when I was playing it, it was the only MOBA that deducted money from the entire TEAM for every player death. MOBAs are absolutely rife with toxic player behaviour, but leave it to S2 Games to take the toxicity to the next level with these kinds of mechanics.

Oh good, ANOTHER digital distribution platform. Just what I wanted for xmas.
Speculation and wishful thinking is what all of this boils down to. "Other open platforms" is too vague. Until Epic mentions Linux specifically, this is a non-story.

It looks unique, but the trailer just leaves me asking so many questions. Why are you building a city on floating blocks in space? Are there actual perfectly shaped cubes floating around in space that are able to sustain human life? Or is it simply a slightly abstract city builder like Block'hood? How do people commute to such a city? Is there a demand for a dislocated city in space?

Now there's a blast from the past. I've first heard of Vendetta Online while perusing the now defunct Linux Game Tome, which feels like a lifetime ago. Glad to see they're still doing well!

I must be jaded as hell, because I thought that tweet was pretty funny. That said, GOG's use of that particular hashtag while this whole anti-trans kerfuffle is going on might not have been the best idea. I would still very much like to hear Hinterland's reason why they've decided to pull their game from GOG.

This looks like my jam, but I'll wait until I see how the game is played. It looks like Syndicate with a dash of Total Annihilation/Supreme Commander in the sense that you have an actual army and you have a unit that represents the player that must not be killed. I'm just guessing though. It's kind of hard to tell looking at the trailer, even though it has gameplay in it.

On another note, I've purchased HFF on GOG a few months ago. It was already inferior to the Steam version due to missing online multiplayer and now this. Ugh.

Quoting: BeamboomIt stings extra hard when they apparently will still keep up the Mac support.I won't lie, this upsets me. I understand that the macOS market share on Steam is over three times the size of the Linux market share, but still...why? Historically, Apple was never in favour of gaming of any kind. Steve Jobs was against it and now, they've decided to push for their own proprietary graphics API instead of continuing to use OpenGL or even adopt Vulkan.
It's a sober reminder that we are a very, very small fish in the gaming pond.

Looks like my kind of game, but watching the trailer I kept thinking I was looking at a mobile game. Maybe it's because of the chunky UI.

I love this bit:
I would have loved to get your feedback during the First Access but I didn't see anything from you until the Steam review, which was a little confusing. What, does this mean that the devs have no use for feedback and criticism once it's past First/Early/whatever Access? Their whole message comes off as highly delusional. HOF Games needs a PR guy. Badly. In the meantime, I will be supporting more reasonable devs.

Quoting: KristianThe gameplay teaser is more specific than "PC". It has the Windows logo. So it is not looking good right now.Push comes to shove, we still have Overload. Still, I would like to see the devs clarify on the Linux situation.
