I'm a bit worried about the UE4. Many Devs seems to have Problems with the Engine if they want to bring a game to Linux. Hopefully they test it during develepment and not only press the "publish to linux" button on the end and then see the problems.

Yes with the Unity 5.6 Update a few weeks ago there came a few new bug. But I completed the game in round about 5 hours (with the black screen and mouse workaround) and did't have any crashes.

Quoting: scaine
Quoting: nikkenIts a shame when the developers dont quality control better, especially with games that looks this good and fun to play. I hope they fix it quickly!
Apparently already fixed! But I'll wait for some confirmation before I purchase again.
they removed the linux symbol from the store page and since release there was no patch for me.
but with the workaround it runs good (achivements dont work)

not working for me.
stuck at the aduld swim logo

after copy some mono and plugin files from another unity game I could get to main menu, but if I try to start a game, then nothing happens.

maybe they pressed only the "export to linux" button without testing

Ballistic Overkill updated as promised with Vulkan, but it's now completely broken (UPDATED with temp fix)

There is a workaround
Open the prefs file in .config/unity3d/Aquaris Game Studio/Ballistic Overkill/
then you have set fullscreen to 0 (now opengl works) and edit you screen size (then vulkan works)
save and play.
But you have to do this every time because after close the game all is gone ( you can set the file to read only ;-) )

btw Vulkans seems have more fps but feels not as smooth as opengl

Quoting: Xpander
Quoting: Leopard
Quoting: Xpander5.6? so Vulkan? Anybody that owns this game can confirm this?
Using Unity 5.6 doesn't mean they're using Vulkan and i think it is not Vulkanized
since 5.6 vulkan its there, even if they dont use it by default i think it can be used via command line switch.
thatswhy i asked.
-force-vulkan

but it gives many errors in the log. something seems missing

Editorial: The Nintendo Switch will use Vulkan, why that doesn't suddenly mean more Linux ports

Not only Vulkan.
The Switch can use Vulkan 1.0, OpenGL 4.5 and OpenGL ES 3.2
