New Humble Weekly Bundle (5 Linux Games Out Of 7)

Quoting: KristianThe distinction between Indie bundles and other bundles as regards DRM-free and cross platform policies is an artificial distinction invented after the fact as a rationalization.
Yep, agreed. But they do still do decent work for charity. They're just not relevant any more as a Linux advocate.
Nonsense.

Both the Humble Indie Bundle and the Humble Bundles With Android both drive ports to Linux. The Swapper, Antichamber and Guacamelee were ported as a result of the last bundle. Giana Sisters was supposed to be ported too, but well that didn't happen...

The previous bundle saw the first ports of Papa & Yo, Reus and Joe Danger 2. Dust: An Elysian Tail was likely ported for inclusion in the 11th Bundle (it was ported a month or two before).

No way in hell they are irrelevant.

Quoting: sevThis is so typical. Linux users support a platform rabidly and loyally, promote it loudly, and then the platform abandons us. Humble Bundle, eeePC, Dell OEM Ubuntu machines, Scratch... I bought every Humble Bundle release when they were staunchly cross-platform, but lately they have not bothered. Such a pity.

This latest release is nice for being semi-cross platform, but I'd like to see more effort from them before I fall back into throwing my money at them.
The Humble Indie Bundle isn't the same thing as the Weekly Bundle, nor any of the special bundles (WB, etc). Just because they have expanded doesn't mean they have sold out.

That wasn't what I was suggesting. For the record it doesn't work.

I'm curious if running Steam Big Picture in a different virtual terminal lets you stream games while still using the desktop machine for other things.

Ryan Icculus Gordon On The Linux Action Show

Having watched the video, I have to say that Ryan is a genuinely nice guy. (The other two should really have just let him talk for 30 minutes as most things he says are fascinating.) He knows shit, he's seen shit and is still hilariously self-deprecating. And is happy to share what he can. He's like Jesse Eisenberg crossed with Santa.

I have no idea why anyone would want to pull a gun on him.
