I still don't like the GUI, and the planetoid maps are a bad good idea, and i don't like the studio because of what they did with PA and Titan back in time.

Hi,

Linux version is currently broken, with a "missing executable" error.

Looking at local files, i only see one folder, with only one packed file : package.nw

Inside this file, there are numerous other files, ogg, png, and some .js too.

A fix would be great !

I really like how they didn't do a generic spacesim design, but instead they went to this weird retro-bubble and very high contrasts. It's visually unique, not always very readable, but it has charisma for sure.

Ah you're right, i missed it. Indeed it has the icon, but it's not listed in System Requirements, where i looked before commenting. So, games can have SteamOS icon, but no System Requirements listed, at the same time ? I thougth it was mandatory to have both, or neither.

If you understand french, i'm doing a "kind of" Let's Play. Not a full game, just some parts from time to time.

Thanks... Hm, i still don't get it... I should read some official help or find something so i can understand...

All i manage to get, is to have the launcher with Freedom1 or Freedom2, but not the Ashes game.

(edit : alright, it works now, the issue was my side, located somewhere in my brain).

Hi !

Not sure how to play that.

I did have gzdoom with Freedom Phase 1 and Freedom Phase 2 installed on my PC.
I open the directory, and copy/paste the files, so it's like this :

/home/USER/.config/gzdoom/freedoom1.wad
/home/USER/.config/gzdoom/freedoom2.wad
...

When i launch gzdoom, a small launcher asks me if i want Freedom1 or Freedom2, then i'm ingame.

With Ashes it's like this :

/home/USER/.config/gzdoom/Ashes2063Mod.pk3
/home/USER/.config/gzdoom/Ashes2063Maps.wad

and the launcher only asks about Freedom 1 and Freedom 2.

What did i miss ?
