Hm. Dark elves, Zombies, Batman's Bane voiced villain, magical sword of Thor... Not very attractive to me.

Yes, there is an unofficial script to run it on Linux, and since maybe 3 years i play the game (a few days every few months, to follow the development), it's playable.

Instructions are there :

If you accept to live in a PvE universe, not PvP, then look at Project Gorgon.

I still think the Destiny Board is a huge mess. I can't understand when the designer decided it was a good idea to have most of the screen uselessly empty, and to have to scroll the screen in many ways to simply see where are stuff. They totally failed it, in my opinion, and the new one is only like the old one with some shine on it.

I'll play at release, but not day 1, nor 2 or 3, as i believe it will be over crowded and unstable, but i'm not sure the game will keep me hooked very long, as they removed piece by piece the parts of "open sand box player driven do what you want". The latest was to add the big central city, with the black market and the portal on it. Death to every other "biome cities" now the "must be" city is that one.

Still want to see the final product, and the crowd mind.

Giving my monthly support to Patreon is a waste of money in the long run, because you don't get all the part i pay to Patreon. Not sure how to deal with it. A one time Paypal donation wouldn't be better ? I don't know what are the taxes and all. I can't give much because of my situation, but you're one of the very few website i subscribe, even if 2€, 2€*Many = a lot.

Isometric destruction-heavy Brigador: Up-Armored Edition has launched on Linux, some thoughts

I love this game since day-1, or even day minus one year or two, i think.

However, be aware that all Mac and Linux versions of Up-Armored are broken, and we are welcome to wait a few days for a fixed version.

Please switch your branch to "Previous" to play the pre-relaunch working macOS build. Our build process for Mac/Linux was broken at the last minute, and we're working on fixing it so that all platforms can enjoy the relaunch.
but because of a snafu the Mac and Linux builds are an incomplete test build. Please switch your branch to 'previous' to play the game as it was before.

Steam Direct, the self-publishing system on Steam will cost developers $100, Curators getting an update too

About 100€ is fine.

As myself, if i wanted to publish a game made on my freetime, i would never be able to pay 1000€ without relying on some kind of bank loan or alike. 1000€ is already a big deal for "small people", i don't know the name in english. 100€ is an engagement, but it's more symbolic than vital.
