I played to the end of the story a few months ago, but i didn't feel i wanted to play again and again like many Hack'n'slash are supposed to be played. Not enough loot, i think, not enough significant builds. Anyway it was a nice and fun experience, and for this alone i recommand it.

Quoting: GuestI'm not giving money to charities anymore, a lot of them are just first world puppets supporting imperialism.

If i want a game i want to pay the developers, if i want to be hypocritical and think i'm a good person by giving money to charities i can donate directly, but not for games.
I wanted to say something similar, so i will only say : same

Signs of Life, a sci-fi survival sandbox platformer officially adds Linux support

It's a very enjoyable Terraria/Starbound/... like game, with incentive on exploration over building. It has some great ideas (i love the upgradable MEG tool), and so weird stuff to see... It's not well known, but i highly recommend it, already about 40 hours in from the released Early Access (i was still dual booting Win7 at that time, brrrr...).

I didn't play for a while, just waiting for release to avoid being bored and new spoil, but at that time i did finish the content and it was a very nice experience.

I tried the Linux version and it seems fine.

According to Steam review, it doesn't seem so good. Overall 67% (11k reviews) and Recents 79% (almost 600).

Taking on the universe in Avorion, my thoughts on this new sandbox spaceship building game

You should know, if the game has a strong build-you-ship part, the gameplay is closer to a crossover between Freelancer and X, than Robocraft or Starmade.

I backed it on KS, and i'm not disappointed so far. Sure it needs some works and polished, but it has already a lot to offer. I'm about 40 hours in, haven't reach the center of the galaxy yet, i like to take my time. I almost didn't fight, i love to be a salvager, waiting at distance from an AI fight, then salvage for fun and profits.

Already 2 patches since released in Early Access on Steam, and as i "know" the devs from the past year i follow the project, i'm very confident they will deliver what we can expect.

Ballistic Overkill major update released, new huge map and private servers

I may try it again. I don't play much online FPS, but I used to enjoy ArmA, BF 2142, TF2...

I didn't manage to enjoy it, i've refunded it on xmas events. I like when if FPS have classes, they have some strong profiles. Here, they are all more or less soldiers with more or less different guns, and a few tricks, so for this i prefer simply no class, only inventory management.
