Sadly Stellaris is using 1 thread so it does not really matter what CPU you use, you will hit a bottleneck at some point :(

The most awaited DLC from my side so far, I wanted to wait, but I was not able to resist a 15€ offer for it. 20€ is a bit pricey for a DLC, but on the other hand you do not have to buy another game as they keep developing the same game and even releasing new and free updates, so basically DLC is like support for them to keep up the good work :)
