They was going to release it on steam, they had prepurchase there. Also they had experience porting metro 1 and 2. It's probably they had linux in mind from zero-day of developing. I hope wont be hard for them to release a build for linux now. :D i have big hopes.

We are not the target for Stadia, and it's not going to replace or fight against PC market. It's more against console war. Parents can buy a cheap console to their son, that they can cancel when they want. And children can play in house, in granparents house or in a vacations trip. This is the target of this Stadia. Doesnt matter you can buy a PC with the cost of it. This target doesn't want a pc or waste a big amount of cash. They want just something as a service.

People pay more than 1k for a phone that do exactly the same as one of 200 euros. A phone that you carry at street, can be lost, stolen or broken. If you like enjoy videogames and the best inmersion that existed in the whole videogames history with the best controllers, FOV and resolution is the price you should pay.

PD: and with linux support ;D

Quoting: KimyrielleI do understand streaming music and videos. I don't understand streaming games. In contrast to music and movies, people generally play only a very small selection of games at the same time, so having access to a huge library has not a lot of appeal in the case of games.
Also, hardcore gamers don't care about spending money for a good machine, while they DO care about any sort of FPS drops or ping lag, either of which is unavoidable when streaming. On the other hand, casual gamers don't need to stream either, because their office PC or standard gaming console can run their handful of no-so performance hungry games well enough, and doing so is considerably cheaper in the long run than paying a Stadia sub.

I don't get it, I just don't. It's a bigger hype than Star Citizen, but call me unconvinced that it will succeed.
You are right about your arguments, gamers tend to spend a lot of money building a pc, but it's also true that in undeveloped countries buying a pc is really expensive, so IMO this makes sense in countries like China or India, there this could have a huge market.
This markets have very bad internet connections.

Quoting: mike456I have the Samsung Odyssey. Could I use those Controllers? Setting up the Index controllers and Price seems not attractive to me. Thanks
This Controllers needs a Vive, pimax or index headset to communicate its position, and need also the lighthouses to calculate the position.

It won't work with Samsung Odyssey.
