Soon you'll call yourself Gaming on Steam. This game was available for a long time on Desura. It's not too good, by the way.

Quoting: edgleyCan't say I'm keen on the likes system. Also, the text fields clash with the new theme.
You mean the text-area for where you type comments? It's being worked on :)
Also the search box. You should remove all white and change it to something like #EEE.

By the way, there's no feedback when I click the "Quote". I was hoping for an automated scroll down to the text-area. And I see it's an <\a> tag, but since it has no href it doesn't change the cursor in FF. Here's a link [External Link] on how to change the pointer :P

Then why not raise funds for the open source and free version? 0 a.d. did a fundraiser, RotC did, OpenShot did, and they were quite successful.

are aliens OP? some don't think so:

Someone in that thread said:
Often when there is a mix of rookies and skilled players on a server, most of the rookies hover around the Marines team in the ready room. When skilled players see that they will join aliens because they don't care which side they play. They don't do it to stomp on rookies, they do it because they see so many people want Marines. So Aliens tends to get stacked with better players because all the rookies are afraid to learn Aliens.
And this is the problem. If that happens then it's the developer's fault, they should have either predicted it or noticed it when it started to happen. The solution would be as simple as "We've noticed you've been playing on one team only. This game is most fun if you play on both sides." and then forcing you on the other team.
