Proton 10.0-2d (beta) released with a few small fixes

Do I understand it right and before this fix Proton was blocking Steam from uninstalling a Steam game? How was it possible? Or was it not Proton's but Steam's own problem and Proton now fixed it (unlikely and anyway again - how is it possible)?

At the same time it is not good also - some of those games were in [more-or-less-]active development, and I'm unlikely to receive any updates through itch now...

what happen to the content that peope already purchased? it still can be downloaded?Yes, I can still download my games, even those that were "suspended by an itch.io administrator.". So it's not *that* bad.

You need a moderately modern hardware for this (at least 10th gen or Zen 3 CPU, 3000-series NVIDIA or 6000-series AMD GPU plus motherboard of that era).

How do you enable "Resizable BAR"? How do you know if you can enable it?I don't think I ever meddle with it myself but NVIDIA's "Resizable BAR" and AMD's "SAM"(Smart Access Memory) on AMD side should be a toggle in bios. It's all a feature of the PCIe standard, so try searching somewhere inside PCI settings.

Oh, well, that's unexpected and sad. :(. I won't say that I won't buy the game or anything, but I will probably wait for a good sale instead of preordering...

I don't get all the negative comments here. A major game release from a major franchise, working flawlessly on day 1 on Linux - I mean, how cool is that? The novelty just wear off, I think, and people nowerdays just expect most games to work on Linux. It's not always like this, of course, but it's a default option. :). And so, instead of being exited about "Oh, it works flawlessly on Linux" people are discussing the game itself, or it's pricing, or development company. It's a sign of great improvement, really. :).

Never was really hooked into Oblivion, but still bought remaster in hopes it will motivate Bethesda to remaster their other games. Like Morrowind.
On a side note: I really feel sorry for Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 developers. It seemed like a good game that will most likely be overshadowed by OR on release tomorrow...

Anyway, on the piece of news itself - I already bought the expansion pass, of course, but will probably postpone playing the game till the Shroud expansion is out.
I mostly play with psionic ascension anyway (even through I usually play fanatic materialist empires) so SotS is the most anticipated DLC for me. Plus, I would prefer to wait for a few balancing patches for 4.0 update and BioGenesis DLC... :).

On a more serious note - as others mentioned you don't need to buy all DLC's. Even having all "major" DLC's is not strictly necessary. The base game should still be good or if you want to buy something - only a select few DLC's would be considered essential.
Plus remember of the subscription option. You can pay 10 euros and have a month-long campaign with all the game content - just don't forget to unsubscribe after :). This will also give you an idea of what you enjoy the most in the game, in case you will want to buy some DLC's after.

I have Stelarris, but I don't think ill ever play it. 200+ euros of DLC? I don't think so...Don't worry, the game is on sale now! Oh, wait, 200 euros price already includes all discounts from this sale... :).

Oh, a China/Japan DLC, really? Knowing the game I'm already anticipating to see Confucian vikings building up a hegemony and christian samurais going on crusade to Korea... :).
Already bought the expansion pass, of course, but with this and a horde expansion I really fear if Paradox put too much on it's plate this year...
