I wonder if they have fixed the many windows appearing bug that seems to happen on KDE when Steam is minimized to the system tray and the computer is left unattended long enough for the monitor to shut off.

This is one of the big problems with globalism. No longer do megacorps stop at national borders. No longer does corporate interest and influence stop at national borders. Thanks to globalism, we are marching toward gigantic multinational corporations controlling everything we consume, and eventually, even more than that. Look at how Microsoft steamrolled all the objections to its merger with ease. Money buys influence, and influence buys power. These corporations are only going to consolidate their power further, the more we shift to globalism.

This is a major win for gamers. As consolidation increases, mainstream games will increasingly become a regurgitation of the same manufactured corporate garbage over and over. How are we supposed to have diversity in gaming experiences if massive corporations control 95% of the market?

Not to mention the vendor lock-in problem that will rear its ugly head again as soon as there's a business case to do so.

If the theme is female protagonists, it's a shame they didn't have Ion Fury in this bundle. Such a great game, and the best thing ever made on the Build engine.

This is because Valve is a Teal organization, rather than a typical Orange-tier organization (basically corporate communism with layers of bureaucracy) like all of its competitors. To understand how these management paradigms work, I recommend reading Reinventing Organizations by Frederic Laloux. The Valve new employee handbook is also a great resource to understand how Valve implements the Teal management paradigm: https://steamcdn-a.akamaihd.net/apps/valve/Valve_NewEmployeeHandbook.pdf [External Link]

Amazing. Valve is just killing it. A great example of a Teal corporation.
