From 3 months ago :
(I have other random guesses somehow related to the hint, but I can't write them down from my mobile phone).
Quoting: ellieferalWell, after all, there are words on this page, so my guess is Deus Ex :-PQuoting: autonomouseSo... does the follow mean that Feral Interactive have announced Deus Ex: Mankind Divided for Linux?Nope! We promise, if we have any Linux plans for Deus Ex: Mankind Divided we'll tell you with words, not with THE REQUESTINATOR.

Quoting: FergleFerglesonGiven my experiences so far with Aspyr, they could release an empty text file and I'm going to buy it first-day, and then pick-up whatever text-file DLC they want to release. :)Sure, but it has to be well priced.
Quoting: FredOWhat about Evolve, do we know who's porting that? That's also a MAC/Linux port.Virtual Programming, IIRC.

Quoting: r2rXWell, I did just that. Since we don't have a website yet, I just put 127.0.0.1 in the form. I wonder what will be their reaction :)Quoting: MayeulCIt happens that I am developing a small game with friends, as a hobby. Do you think I should apply ?You might as well. :D

I've been pretty interested in this game. It reminds me of Sid Meier's Pirates ! on the original Xbox
I would love to play it with a steam controller; with cannons mapped to right and left grip, and a big haptic feedback when you fire. This would be awesome :-)

Don't quote me on this, however, I am not a specialist, and there are people better fit to answer you :-)

Quoting: KristianSomething I hadn't thought about before seeing you mention webGL in your post: There is a webGL, will there be a webVulkan?I don't think this is ever going to happen, since vulkan allows you to access hardware at a very low level, this would probably be too dangerous for web applications. Moreover, you need to be able to adapt to every supported gpu out there if you go the vulkan way ( handling different memory bandwidth, and capacity, etc, if you want to do it correctly). While this is certainly doable for big engines, I don't see every web developer doing this.

Steam should offer arm builds of its client, in my opinion. And games too :-)
The steamboy could be interesting, especially if there are emulators pre-loaded with it. I could see myself playing those emulators, as well as simple platformers on it. But I don't think PC games are designed with energy usage in mind, I am afraid that even the simplest platformer might be an energy sink. Well, they will probably conduct some testing, and adjust the performance governor (or at least show an option to do so).
I don't see how Bluetooth might be useful, apart from earphones. But USB OTG... Just imagine connecting four controllers to it and playing splitscreen :-P

I will pick it up in the next sale :-)
How many players can play split screen at the same time?
Hopefully, next on their agenda isworkshop integration (my bad, it's already here, let's say advanced car customization, then), as well as a drm-free version. Friends' ghosts would be pretty awesome too.
Is it well integrated with steam ? Like you can invite your friends in your race, and such?
Next on my wishlist is underground 3, I hope it gets ported to Linux.

The Steam Hardware Survey For May Is Here, It’s Not All Doom & Gloom
4 Jun 2015 at 3:02 pm UTC
When I was using steam on windows, I was getting the survey quite often. Once every 2-3 months maybe, on the same install.
But I didn't get it more than once or twice on my computer in two years.
So, either I have bad luck, or the survey is buggy on Linux. I got it last time I logged in on windows (that was to allow a computer for family sharing). Previously, silentely dismissing the survey would have made it appear on my Linux box, but it didn't worked.
It could also be Valve keeping the numbers low enough for whatever reason (yeah, it sounds like a conspiracy theory, but they could use the numbers to claim that they were in fact the big actor making people switch over to Linux after the SteamOS release, or whatever reason they want).

Quoting: linux_gamerIt also wouldn't be a problem at all to just send 1 additional byte to identify the OS every time users log into Steam.2. Sorry, I couldn't resist :)
