Just finished the game on Linux Mint 19.1 turns out some cutscenes play without subtitles.
Example; in the first cutscene when you start the game and the one starting the epilogue are supossed to have text but it does not appear, just realized after I missed the entire big bad's monologue.

I just tried the first level on manjaro and all seemed to work out of the box, but keep in mind that I have the steam version and in an Nvidia GPU.

Never played it since I'm on manjaro, but I can test it this weekend. On the steam forum they said it could be an unsupported Linux version problem, maybe some depencies are missing with manjaro.

Oh well, I guess I'll keep Linux Mint then, either way thank you.

I'm running Manjaro & the game is the GOG version.

I have the game on steam and used Linux mint at this time, but if I remember correctly it was just a GPU driver problem.

Just gave supraland a quick run, seems to be a nice open world but holy cow it's nearly unplayable if I don't turn everything down, and even then it runs painfully at 30 to 40 FPS. The good news is that even if it's not perfect the game don't feel to laggy at 30 fps.

I will Begin my gaming Sunday with a bit of insurgency, and these evening I will probably dive in saints raw IV again, I really need to finish it. I just looked at supraland, and I may test the demo later if I have some spare time.

It's not money, they probably fear to see that spread to other name / brand. Imagine seeing the look of soul, run to the pills, and I just let you imagine what a twisted mind could do with aces high...:whistle:

Not quite sure that the band has so much power over this, it's more likely the producer or the label who make such moves. And keep in mind that there is a Mobil game iron maiden it's not just a music band name. From my point of view, even if ion maiden was a great name, these whole story will change nothing regarding the game or the band. It may even help the game gain some visibility.

The big box is a nice retro touch, but for more than the double of the price. A picture to see the content would have been nice. Do we have information about the availability? Because I could totally put the extra money if the quality is there.

I haven't played it since it left early access, so it may have changed a bit. The narrative part gives you just the background and your goal is just to be the biggest company. I consider it like a good game but have to admit it's a bit too empty (on the narrative sense)for my likes. Hope these helped you a bit :)
