Lots of people tried linux and most of them probably will never want to back on linux again. They try linux because they are curious. I think the number of real steam linux users is less than 1% and our number will never grow up than that.

Tell me, guys, do you really think someone may upset about XCOM: Enemy Unknown so badly? You didn't even try to understand. So why should I answer you? But I try one more time. If you don't want to understand - that's your problem, not mine.
When I bought XCOM, there wasn't any warning about 64 bit only or something like that. So, I bought the game and some DLC's, then download more than 7GB and only then I learned that XCOM has only 64 bit support. And info about it I found in one of topics. It wasn't okey at all. I spent about $10 on this game and I wouldn't have bought the game if I only knew. Should I check all topics before buying any game? Of course not.
A few games on linux don't support 32 bit. There is nothing to be upset about. I could play a windows version of XCOM if I wanted to. And despite the fact I personally don't like the whole situation with 64 bit, normally I just don't buy that sort of games. But I definitely said nothing if there was any warning. Faral deceived me and lots of other customers. I had to wrote a lot of comments before they finally agreed to change the requirements. And a lot of unpleasant comments was written. No, I don't give a hoot about someone thinks of me. They'll never be part of my life, so I don't care. But I'm talking about "friendly" linux community and just the same "friendly" linux game developers. And that's not funny at all. Just repeat that, I'm really upset not because the 32 bit support. That's it. And there is nothing more to discuss.

We have already seen developers slow ports down due to Linux users' attitudes. If devs want to port games on linux, they do it anyway.

Sadly, it would be one more half-ported game by Feral.

Quoting: BillNyeTheBlackGuyStill bitter about the whole 32 bit thing huh?Nope. Still cool with my 32 bit system. And more than that, I have a big list of games I want to play on my 32 bit system. I guess, it takes me at least 2 or 3 years to play all linux games I've already bought. So, no crying and no grieving about a few games I can't play natively on linux. If I wanted I'd play XCOM. There is no problem to use Wine for that.

Quoting: BeamboomThis right here is what I talk about in my post above. Ferals work on Xcom is the exact opposite of garbage, it's one of the best ports to Linux so far, and to sit an spew out stuff like this on forums on the net... We're just in no position whatsoever to do so!A lot of people contact me after reading my comments about Feral. We talk and I recommend them contact Feral and ask them don't port any more games on linux. So, I don't need to argue with you here. Sorry, nothing personal. What I need is just leaving my comments and do what I do.
