QuoteThe Humble
Bundle for Android 2
Five games—never-before-seen on Android—for your phones and tablets. We're bringing the hottest mobile entertainment to your Android devices. Pay-what-you-want to get Zen Bound 2, Canabalt, Cogs, and Avadon: The Black Fortress (tablets only). And if you pay more than the average price, you'll also get the vibrant, side-scrolling strategy game Swords & Soldiers.
Playing at your desktop? No problem. Buying the Humble Bundle for Android 2 also gets you Mac, Windows, and Linux versions of all the games! Customers will also receive digital audio for each game with an official soundtrack.
Pay what you want. If you bought these games separately, it would cost around $57. We are letting you set the price!
The games work great on Mac, Windows, Linux, and Android (system requirements here). Note that this is the initial release of all the games for Android, and most of them for Linux. Please be patient while the developers fix any 1.0 bugs as quickly as they can, and of course, don't hesitate to contact us if you encounter any issues.
You can support charity. Choose how your purchase is divided: between the developers, the Child's Play Charity, or the Electronic Frontier Foundation. And if you like this deal, a tip to Humble Bundle would be much appreciated!

I must say i haven't had a problem with a single HIB game so far :)

Well, I do not have any Humble Bundle after Introversion, but I have not had that many problems, at least not many that I have not been able to solve.

Granted, I had to fix the Trine problems myself, but I am not unhappy with the support guy I talked to. It is just I was a bit more competent on Linux issues than he was.

There were some problems with Dungeons of Dredmor, but they put out an update.

And this is all on the R600 Gallium3D Drivers. So that has not really been my problem.

As for the latest ones, well, I can not really comment. But I am leery about Team Meat. They do not seem to really care about us.

These are mostly problems with the later bundles, yes. I got a reply now that they're looking into the problem with ZB2. I also asked about proper updates for Shank and SMB.

Yeah, though I'm not sure if it's bad of HIB to support not-so-Linux-friendly devs, or a good idea as there wouldn't have been much chance of a port otherwise?

Quoting: "Cheeseness, post: 3759, member: 122"I haven't had any problems with Shank or SMB myself.

Assuming you've already identified, subscribed to and submitted any extra details you might have to relevant bugs on the icculus.org bugzilla, it wouldn't hurt to shoot an email to the [email protected] as well (including relevant bug numbers). Maybe they can get Icculus' attention (or one of the other people working on maintaining the Humble Bundle ports).

Yep, done and done.

The most frustrating is the Anomaly people. The forum seems to only be monitored by some sort of helpdesk person, with no way of contacting the devs directly. If nothing else it might be possible to sweet-talk someone with an @intel.com address to contact them. Hopefully that's harder to ignore than just mere customers...

Their email support was quite fast to reply, even if it was just to say "we'll look into that".
