By - | Views: 5,058
Writing in a blog post on it's Desura page the developer behind Frozen Nightmare has stated the next version 1.3 will have Linux support!

The developer states hopefully by Saturday/Sunday 1.3 will be out:
QuoteAbout linux: expect the game to be released for linux on saturday or early sunday.

There will also be lost of other improvements to make the game run better :)
Quotemenu will have a tutorial option, making you learn teh basic game controls and how to build, how meat, water and medicine looks like, this is to assure that new players can dive into Frozen NIghtmare right away.

menu will look like an actual menu, basically we will make it look good or atleast decent.

UI wil be polished so your eyes dont have to handle something ugly but rather nice and beatifull.

G R A D U A L R E N D E R system, this will increase your frame rate by atleast the double, believe me playing the game at 40 fps will make everything look and feel better.

a more detailed map that does not feel that empty

Any chance of this one also showing up on Steam ?

It would need to go through greenlight and i don't see the author putting it onto there for quite a while.

I am sure that if it does get on Steam eventually you could talk the developer into getting Desura to supply purchasers with Steam keys. Desura plays nice that way.

yes the game will give steam a shot, but that will happen when we get a bigger audience, by the way the linux 32 and 64 version of the game is out! if you buy the linux 32 you will also download the 64 bits required files
