Its been promised for a while now and teased in the trailer embedded in this post, the wait is now over though and you can go and download Don`t Starve on Steam for Linux right now! The Linux and Mac versions have been added as part of the latest update The End Is Nigh, to read about all the rest of the new features check out the official post here

Fantastic! Been looking forward to playing this without the need for Chromium / Iron (I out right refuse to use *Google* Chrome).

Edit: (I have been playing this in Iron for several months now).
