Dirk Dashing: Secret Agent! Special Edition v.1.3.1 has been released, which fixes a few bugs and includes a new and improved Linux installer. Plus, the game is now available on the Ubuntu Software Center, and is available for pre-ordering on Desura. The official Desura release is June 4.

To celebrate, the game is on sale for 70% off through June 30, 2013! That's just $2.99 USD!

I'm hoping this special offer will help bring new customers, drive sales for Dirk Dashing 2, and raise some extra money to fund my next game project. So tell your friends and share the news!

The new version is available from the game's official page here:

Dirk Dashing 2: E.V.I.L Eye v1.1 has also been released! This was originally going to be a minor bug fix release, but when I was forced to change the save game format to fix a bug, I decided to make some enhancements! First, I've brought back E.V.I.L agent Nasty Knuckles from Dirk Dashing 1, and added him to a number of levels. Second, I've also brought back the grenade launcher, which adds a new weapon and shakes up the gameplay quite a bit. For example, when I was testing, I used the grenade launcher against a riot guard, and the recoil kicked me backward into a camera's field of view and set off the alarm! So with cameras, laser tripwires, ceiling crawlers, spiders, and other new hazards in Dirk 2, you'll really need to be careful when you use the grenade launcher!

I've also included a new and improved Linux installer, and fixed a number of bugs. This game is now available through the Ubuntu Software Center as well.

The Adventures of Rick Rocket, my unique 1940's style space shooter, has also been released on the Ubuntu Software Center.
