Hyper Light Drifter, 2D Action RPG With Awesome Visuals

By - | Views: 10,251

Hyper Light Drifter is a 2D Action RPG in the vein of the best 8-bit and 16-bit classics, with modernized mechanics and designs on a much grander scale.

This is a kickstarter I think is well deserving of being well over funded, words and screenshots cannot do it justice, make sure you watch the video on the kickstarter!

They asked for $27,000 and currently sitting pretty at $240,000 on the dot, wow!

I love RPG games and the visual style of this is quite hard to describe I think, it's colourful while being quite dark at the same time, it reminds me a bit of Bastion only in a retro style of graphics.

Looks like a mashup of Bastion and Sworcery, which is no bad thing. Music sounds great too.

Looks fantastic! I wish kickstarter followed Indiegogo's lead and allowed you to put the money up on the spot. Oh well, guess I'll just have to set a reminder.

Yeah, set in the world of Supergiant Games' Transistor...

Love the graphics! Sweet, sweet pixels.

I don't understand -- a reminder for what? To keep some money in your account for when the pledge actually gets charged, a little after the campaign closes?

or maybe to not spend it on something else in the meantime?
