It has been a while since I wrote about Drifter so it's time to change that! Drifter is a really good looking space sandbox game you guys will love.

I haven't written about it since it came to Linux and since then it has seen lots of heavy changes including an updated HUD.

It is still quite basic in that it doesn't offer up any in-game tutorial, they do have a quickstart guide ready for you to sort-of help you find your way.

I cannot wait to see this game become more complete as it's already quite beautiful, just lacking when it comes to knowing what to do can be a problem.

The final version will be "ready when it is ready" so don't expect the final version to ship tomorrow. You can however buy access now for $10 and get the beta DRM free. Article taken from GamingOnLinux.com.
