AI War Fleet Command is currently in beta on Linux, and later this month not only will Linux be an official platform, but a new expansion will be released too.

A big patch is going to be released too (part of that is Linux support), and with it comes a brand new trailer for the update!

The game really looks like it gets crazy! The new expansion is named "Destroyer of Worlds" which features plenty of new AI types along with a ton of new content.

It's officially released for Linux on August the 18th, so keep a note of it guys!

Check out AI War Fleet Command on Steam now, and you can even play it on Linux if you opt into the beta on Steam.

Did you pick it up when we mention it was in beta last time, or are you going to pick it up soon? Either way let us know!

About AI War
"You are outgunned. You are massively outnumbered. You must win." These are your orders.

Humanity has already fought its war against the machines -- and lost. AI death squads stand watch over every planet and every wormhole, the few remaining human settlements are held captive in orbiting bubbles, and the AIs have turned their attention outward, away from the galaxy, to alien threats or opportunities unknown.
