Since we now know that Borderlands: The Pre-sequel will be our first AAA same-day Linux release be sure to pre-order it, and check out this latest video!

I can't wait to try out playing as a combat claptrap, hah, that sure does sound amusing. What do you guys think?

All the more reason for me to really hammer some hours into Borderlands 2 to finish it before the release. You guys will want to know what we think of TPS when it's release after-all right? I best get saving my pennies to grab a copy of TPS when it arrives.

You can pre-order using GameAgent the store run by Aspyr Media (the guys porting the game).

It releases on the 17th of October on Steam. Article taken from GamingOnLinux.com.

Broke my preorder rule and my promise I made to not by any more games until I played the ones I have. Thanks Aspyr :P

Preordering games is bad and shouldn't be done.

Never pre-order anything! Pre-ordering must disappear! Only buy games after reading some reviews.

I'll not preorder it but i'm looking forward to this game :-)
I never preorder anything.

UT3 teached me to never preorder anything until there is a working linux version available for real!

$60 for a single game (no dlcs?) It's a lot of money, and money doesn't grow on trees ;)
If this game is like a mod of B2 (using same engine) then I would think it should be cheaper.
But for those than have enough money, its great than they make an investment in the future of linux as a gaming platform, devs has to know that we are willing to pay (but in my case not $60 for just a pre-order)

I was hoping they would revamp the clunky interface (or at least make it more mouse friendly). All in all, it seems like more Borderlands with more content; which is what they do best. However, I don't see it demanding to be played any sooner than the rest of the extensive BL2 content making it worth it to enable pre-order culture. That said I'll probably pick it up down the line :)

Quoting: aLare there benefits to preorder?
Well, I preordered Metro...

I preordered, though I didn't like Borderlands 1. But I like BL2 and the Linux support for TPS on day one even more. So why not show Aspyre a little love after Civ V and BL2 and PREORDER NOW!

I never really pre-order out of principle, but I did. If it runs well, in a week I'll buy the season pass too.
