The game honestly looks really stupidly fun and well made.... and it is being released on Early Access today for Windows and OS X, so when some strange guy was asking for a fix on the "no Linux" bug yesterday, one of the developers gave a very positive reply:
QuoteIts' a bug. We'll fix it soon. We <3 Linux.

So, will you be living your childhood dream when the game comes to Linux?

About the game
The beautiful story of one slice of bread's epic and emotional journey as it embarks upon a quest to become toasted.

As you delve deeper and deeper into the story of 'I am Bread', you'll notice that things aren't quite what they seem....

Key features:

  • Embark on an epic journey around The House - you will traverse the wondrous and deadly realms of The Kitchen and The Lounge before confronting the terrifying ordeals of The Bedroom and The Bathroom.
  • Almost a hundred items for your bread to interact with, get messy, or toast yourself with.
  • A clever, witty story that never really explains exactly why a piece of bread is moving around someone's house!

Quoting: MetallinatusWell, I personally liked what I've seen from this game and I do like Goat Simulator too.... as long as you have enough stuff to do or to explore it can be fun.

Yeah, the exploration and sandbox aspects are certainly what appeals to me in games like these. I've played games like Probably Archery and Surgeon Simulator too, but the novelty of the concept wears off quickly in games like those for me.

I bought Goat Simulator the day it was released for Linux and I'll do the same with this one.
