SteamLUG February Linux Gaming Events

By - | Views: 7,689
Hey people!

The Steam Linux User Group (SteamLUG.org) has its February events lineup available for anybody who'd like to meet and play with other Linux gamers!

Event times are in UTC (click on an event for local time via Steamcommunity.com) and happen at 20:00 (8PM) UTC. Events marked with an asterisk (*) follow a live SteamLUG Cast recording, are scheduled for 20:30 (8:30PM) UTC, and are likely to start late when we go over time.

Our "month-long event" for this month is likely to be Starbound, though we're reluctant to schedule something until the current launcher bug is resolved. Enthusiastic players can join either of the servers listed here any time!

We'll also be continuing with our during-the-week Guns of Icarus practice sessions at the new time of 20:00pm UTC on Tuesdays and the regular time of 00:01am UTC on Fridays (that's Monday and Thursday in locations that are behind UTC)! More details can be found in this thread.

All of our events aim to be accessible to newcomers and give experienced gamers a chance to play socially.

Hope to play with you soon!

Update: We've wrangled Ryan C. Gordon to join us for S03E04 of SteamLUG Cast (which will precede the Double Action: Boogaloo event). People are welcome to join Mumble early and listen in! Article taken from GamingOnLinux.com.

The only game I don't have from this list is BattleBlock Theatre, but all the other ones have been preloaded :)
I'll try to join most events!

Very nice that you post here too the events of this group. I've played with them a couple of times and they are really nice guys and I think the most active linux steam group. Specially good was playing natural selection with them, as I think one of the linux porters was in mumble so we could chat with him and give him direct feedback.
