About the author -
After many years of floating through space on the back of a missile, following a successful career in beating people up for not playing Sega Saturn, the missile returned to earth. Upon returning, I discovered to my dismay that the once great console had been discontinued and Sega had abandoned the fight to dominate the world through 32-bit graphical capabilities.

After spending some years breaking breeze blocks with my head for money and being mocked by strangers, I have found a new purpose: to beat up people for not playing on Linux.

Well, unless youre undecided on if you're buying one that is. Else it would be a No.

We don't class a PC running Windows with a custom UI for Steam a Steam Machine. So we shouldn't count any distro booting to big picture mode either.

Done.

I'm on Intel and AMD, but it's not put together due to lost faith in a retailer that happens to have the motherboard I need/want so I don't have to build a whole new system. Even worse is that I am hesitant to put new hardware on this PSU from a trade with a friend who should have known better than to buy the brand I got from him.

In short, I'm unfortunately not playing games on my own system until I build a whole new one.

I will most likely be ditching AMD GPUs, so I answered a little bit as though I had a PC still built, but without saying I'm buying games at the moment. I buy Linux games exclusively at least when I can play them, so I answered some questions as though I didn't stall my PC shopping and rebuild. Still a Linux gamer here.

Quoting: GuestIt might be time to change "Games using Wine wrappers (such as The Witcher 2)" since The Witcher 2 has never been using Wine.
This^

More fitting examples: System Shock 2 (Crossover wrapper, available on Steam), Flatout 2 (Wine wrapper, available on GOG).

Hair split: If I build a PC or buy a prebuilt, it will be around portability and playing games on Linux. I'll forgo Windows as much as possible. Add this to the fact that I will install SteamOS when it's ready and buy a Steam controller. Until SteamOS is ready or if I don't like it for some reason I can't even predict, I'm still calling it a Steam Machine. I don't think the distro matters that much, especially when other distros could do what SteamOS will do or improve upon it.

Why would it be a joke? We do it every month.

The joke is that the image for this months poll says "Survey results for March March March", instead of "Survey input for April"? :P

Easiest solution: removing "Wine" from the existing sentence and leaving it at "Games using wrappers" (and maybe adding "such as XXX, YYY, or ZZZ" if you want to further clarify.)
