Storm United is the first real game out there to use Unreal Engine 4 on Linux, and it's really stealing my heart already.

The brand new update that just landed adds a few little bells and whistles, but the biggest change is weapon loadouts. Instead of having a screen full of weapons, you now pick and save your choice of loadouts, and it makes the game quite a bit nicer.

It seems they also solved the stutter on Linux when you fire a weapon, so the game is nearly perfect performance wise in my testing earlier.

The session I was playing on the new update had the developer in it too responding to feedback, so that's another awesome point.

I imagine you will be able to see us play it in the livestream tomorrow.

About the game
Storm United is a class-based multiplayer First Person Shooter that aims to bring top tier fps fun and smooth sensations with the help of our unique procedural physically simulated weapon and camera movements tech. If you are a FPS fan, please try and feel it for yourself, we really worked a lot on the gameplay fluidity and hope you like it as much as we do!

I shall leave you with this beautiful shot of myself and an enemy who froze eachother, brilliance.

Quoting: kyokeiFor some reason I can't join the GOL clan :(
Unfortunately clans sizes are limited to 30 people. There should be an GOL-beta or GOL-gamma clan around with some open slots still.

Unfortunately, no UE4 game works yet on OSS drivers (not tried this one, though, I have the feeling this would be wasted money).
It's the worst kind of crash : gpu hang, the only way I found to get out of one is to connect myself via ssh, and kill X. However, dpm won't recover after such a hang.

I hope it will get sorted out quickly, before the bulk of UE4 games starts kicking in :-)

This is a game I could sink my teeth into by the looks of it. Any DM or just team DM ?

DISREGARD, DID MY OWN QUICK CHECK ON THEIR SITE AND GOT ANSWER.
