I was just playing L4D with a controller. It was doable, up until the finale, then I had to switch to K&M. My overall accuracy was 30%. It's usually 60-70%. :(
I think I was improving towards the end. It takes a bit of getting used to holding your finger still and using the gyro for precision aiming.

Does Samsai have a Steam Controller as well?
For the sake of comparison it would be great if you can swap places after a while in order to disambiguate whether the Steam Controller is better/worse than the mouse+keyboard or just one of you is plainly better than the other :P

I just received the controller last friday. It works, but you need practice, I didn't achieve be as fast as with keyboard+mouse, but I'm sure it can be done with practice.
(writing is another thing, it's like writing with 2 fingers).

A lot of the part of the stream I saw was spent configuring and tweaking the controller settings, so it's definitely not even remotely to a fair comparison - between Liam and the CSGO dude, or between the Steam Controller and KBM.

Have steam controller, can confirm - getting used to FPS on it is very difficult.
Non precision games though? Works well.
I would love if it they made a version where the trackpads could unscrew and you could screw in joysticks or some other mod.
Valve has said they hope people will Mod their Controller - I'm not sure what they means.

I know I mostly went back to keyboard/mouse for FPS games, but now that I think about it, I should try it with the gyro. With the exception of aiming, I would rather sit back and use the gamepad.
