The game will be released on PS4, Xbox One and PC/MAC the 4th of February in Europe and the 23rd of February in USA.

Yes, Linux is not mentioned directly, but the SteamOS icon on their Steam page says it all. They also have the system requirements up already:
QuoteOS: Linux x86_64
Processor: Intel quad-core processor running at 3.1 GHz
Memory: 4096 MB RAM
Graphics: Intel integrated or mobile graphic card, with at least 768MB of dedicated or shared VRAM and with at least Shader Model 5.0 support

I can't wait to play this, since I like detective games/movies/books, especially Agatha Christie :)

We need more games like this, n'est-ce pas? Article taken from GamingOnLinux.com.

Very nice!

I´ve long hoped that "Frogware" would have their Sherlock Holmes game-series ported to Linux. However, Poirot is close enough to satisfy my need for adventure-sleuthing. Just keep `em coming!

I wish this game is at least half as good as The Raven: Legacy of a Master Thief.

Sherlocks would be amazeballs too, mainly the Crimes & Punishments: Sherlock Holmes

Also L.A. Noire would be great :)

The game is coming to GOG too - hopefully the Linux version shows up there as well.

It seems that the Linux version of this game is an SteamOS exclusive... Like the linux version of both Metro Redux.

I do not generally pre-order games, but I pre-ordered this one for the discount that ends at launch, and day-one Linux support, and my love of detective/mystery. I hope it is as good as I am thinking it will be!

I played L.A. Noire on PS3 and finished it, and everything about it was a HUGE disappointment. That said, I'd probably buy it if it somehow came to Linux, but I doubt I'd ever actually play it again.

Same! :)

But with at least half as many graphical quirks.

I hope they bring it on GOG as well. Till now they offer only the windows and mac version there.

Did they explain why?
