Mighty No. 9 delayed again due to networking problems

A shame when games get delayed, especially games like Mighty No. 9 that a lot of people are hoping turns out good. I would rather they delayed it, and delayed it some more until it's a polished experience.

Last year I have lost my faith in Keiji Inafune because of that Kickstarter fiasco. Now they just confirm it again. How such a simple game like this can be delayed so many times? If one or two platforms are holding then back why not launch the finished ones?

And his involvement in 2 more games before he deliver the first one, for the people who put his name back on track, who paid in advance?

Sorry, but I will not buy this game if its not turn out in game of the year material. I do not want to encourage this type of behavior from a developer.

This is a Mega Man clone, a game that can be played without any network features. I don't understand why don't they apologize, RELEASE the game without the online features and, after the bugs are fixed, they update the game and bring the online mode. All current gaming platforms have update capabilities.

Keiji Inafune should have made this decision, and not delay the game again. Kickstarter backers are now really pissed. I am a backer, and while I'm not pissed, I am disappointed. If Inafune wasn't our last hope to see "Mega Man" alive again (as Capcom haven't released new games of him for a long time), I would be pissed to have backed the project and now see this happening.

Sometimes I don't get devs, why not disable incomplete features and slide into Early Access buying time to complete those features?

Sometimes the Unix Philosophy of getting a working product even if primitive right away is better than vaporware.

For those of who you Kickstarted this: stole your money they did. Inafune had no busy taking money from gullible gamers when he could have raised funds otherwise. Easy route he chose. Gamers need to stop making "crowd funding" an easy route for those big time developers. Some small time indie developers could use some of your funds.

Mighty No. 9 hasn't passed the smell test in quite some time.
