I bought Dungeon Warfare for Sale on Steam this week. It is 75% discount (£1.74). It is working on Linux fine for me.

The game is a well-crafted Tower Defence game, in a Dungeon Keeper style setting. I've played it for about 5 hours, and have been thoroughly enjoying it. The various Steam reviews do a good job of describing it.

It is a bit smarter game-play than your average Tower Defence, because you can adjust the flow of the Heroes attacking your Dungeon core, by putting obstacles to force them to go another route. For instance, adjusting their route so that they wander into the tracks of mine-carts, and the mine-carts bear into them.

I'm particularly keen on the Harpoon trap, so far - which you place on the other side of 'bottomless' pits, and when an enemy comes along, it harpoons them, drags them into the pit and down they go.

Thank-you for the recommendation. I just bought a copy and have been playing it all day. The graphics are very basic, but the game is excellent for anyone who likes Tower Defence games.

Ahhhh.... so tempted.... Tyranny Commander Edition is at its highest ever discount - 60% off on GOG.

But.... Maybe wait another year or so, and get the GOTY edition, when that eventually arrives. (I'm not happy buying games and then buying DLC later.)

Still, Tyranny was probably a Day 1 Release for the Linux version, and I think it is well worth supporting developers that give so much love to Linux (Obsidian, Paradox).
