A look at what's currently on sale and good for Linux gamers

The weekend is nearing, you're in need of more games to fill up your backlog with and so we're here to help you satisfy that need.

Firstly, as a reminder there's a big GOG summer sale going on. We have one of those fancy summer partner pages with some choice picks (all of which are on sale!), so if you're a big GOG fan it's worth a look there.

Steam has a Dungeons Dragons Sale going on until tomorrow (~20 hours left), so you can pick up titles like Icewind Dale: Enhanced Edition with 75% off, Planescape: Torment: Enhanced Edition with 80% off and so on.

Here's a few extra choice picks from random stores to take a look at:

  • SOMA - 80% off - GOG
  • Mad Max - 75% off - Steam (~20 hours left, act fast)
  • SteamWorld Heist - 67% off - Steam (~20 hours left, act fast)
  • Dying Light: The Following - Enhanced Edition - 67% off - Gemly (Techland's own store ~13 hours left, act fast)
  • MidBoss - 50% off - Humble Store, itch.io, Steam
  • The Signal From Tölva - 50% off - Steam

In the Humble Monthly, you can grab Hearts of Iron IV. In addition, the Humble Monthly gives you access to the Humble Trove, which is a big collection of DRM free games you can download any time. They just added The Penumbra Collection, Satellite Reign and Subserial Network to the list of over 30 titles—not bad for $12!

If you like your realism-based FPS games, The Humble Arma 2018 Bundle can give you Arma 3 (experimental Linux port available) + a bunch of DLC.

There's also The Humble Daedalic Bundle 2018 which has a few really decent Linux games as well like Caravan, Deponia: The Complete Journey, Anna's Quest, Silence, Deponia Doomsday and Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun.

Lastly, while not game related, if you're into your programming The Humble Book Bundle: Pocket Primers might be worth a look.

Paradox are having a sale. Here are their Linux games. There is also list of games which are on sale but I couldn't find a way to filter on both at once.

This is the store belonging to the publisher of these games. My understanding is that purchasing there gives a Steam key.

That's weird. Steel Division: Normandy 44 appears in the second page there, but it has no Linux version. Is a Linux version planned or something? Why would it appear if the filter clearly tells "Supports linux"?
