A new Humble Monthly is up with BATTLETECH as an early unlock

By - | Views: 13,388

Looks like another good Humble Monthly has just arrived, as the early unlock game is the strategy title BATTLETECH which has Linux support.

Checking SteamDB, looks like this is the cheapest BATTLETECH has been so far too. In this case, it's even better value since you get a bunch of additional games unlocked next month. On top of that there's access to the Humble Trove, their curated selection of DRM free games and there's plenty in there that support Linux too.

The unlocks for the previous Humble Monthly were pretty good too. Slay the Spire, Distance, State of Mind, Guacamelee! 2, Squad, MOTHERGUNSHIP and God's Trigger. Plus the Humble Original game Shady Knight. Works out quite nicely since I wanted to try out MOTHERGUNSHIP with Steam Play for a while.

A good deal, check out the Humble Monthly.

Oh my. Did anyone not want Slay the Spire or Distance from last month? ;) I might need to head over to Steam Trades.

I got the bundle for Slay the Spire and it was definitely worth it. I'm thinking about maybe keeping State of Mind, the rest is trade bin material.

What's next months games? I seem to buy allot of games, then just end up staring at them in my steam/gog libraries.. might wait until I see what next months are to be.

Only BATTLETECH is revealed so far. Sometimes, they don't reveal more than one. Other teams, they reveal like up to three. You don't get to know all of them until they're released and you can't buy the bundle anymore. You have to be subscribed before they're released.

It has a timer on the bundle page, which is at 27days or so, plenty of time.

I'm a bit irritated by last month's subscription bundle. Already owned Slay The Spire, one of the early reveals, so I decided to pause the month. Then the after-purchase titles include State of Mind and Distance, both which I wanted. The rest of the late reveals were okay as well (could have Proton'ed them). Humble Monthly Subscription is frikkin' annoying for Linux players. (At least Windows players know that all the titles will run on Windows.)

I don't think you get September's games if you subscribe now.

Too bad.
This is the second month in a row I already own the Linux games.
But it's a really great deal. Battletech is good.

I already had Slay the Spire, but getting Battletech and State of Mind sure is nice ;-)
