Stadia are now started to finally build up their game collection, as multiple Ubisoft titles will be appearing this month including The Division 2, The Crew 2 and Monopoly as confirmed by Google. Let's have another round-up of news for the Linux-powered game streaming service.

We already knew The Division 2 was coming but now we have a little extra info, as they've properly announced that it will have both cross-platform online play and cross-progression. This is how it should be really so it's great to see. Weirdly though, the new post today didn't actually have a date for The Division 2 despite previous reports of it coming on March 17.

Making it slightly more interesting though, is that The Division 2 on Stadia will be the second game to use the Stream Connect feature which is a unique feature of Stadia. This is where you can stream the camera of all your teammates onto your screen, which is pretty cool.

As for the others, they've now announced the popular 2018 racing game The Crew 2 for Stadia as well, and this did have a proper release date down for March 25.

The last one announced today for Ubisoft games on Stadia is Monopoly, which will release on April 28. While that one is not particularly exciting, they still need lots of varied titles like that to compete on every possible front they can.

Google also recently rolled out 4K streaming to web browser for Stadia, however, they're once again struggling to live up to previous promises as DOOM Eternal which releases for Stadia on March 20 is another that will not be true 4K. Instead, it will run at "1080p @60 FPS on HD displays and up-sample to 2160p from 1800p @60 FPS on 4K displays" (so much for "true 4K"). For what was supposed to be one of their flagship titles to showcase the power of Stadia and how fast-games can work well on it, they're not doing so good.

A lot of other games are announced for Stadia this year including the aforementioned DOOM Eternal, Relicta, SUPERHOT, The Elder Scrolls Online, The Turing Test and apparently around 120 others in total together.

Never much liked digital versions of Monopoly, half the fun of that game is using made up rules that make the game last nearly half a day and pisses off the entire family as a result.

Wow. I can barely get my family to pay attention to the normal rules. And that includes the adults.

I think Ubisoft also allow their games to work via Geforce Now. While I'm not a fan of this company they are doing the right thing here. (I actually think I own watchdogs 1 and 2).

TBH, I usually like Ubisoft games a lot with a caveat. I will not play their multiplayer PC games. If I'm getting one of their games for the multiplayer aspect, I get it on PS4. I was burned too many times troubleshooting networking issues etc. Stadia? Well, I'm curious. Too bad I already have Division 2 on PS4 though.

ESO... I think that is a pay-once game that I already own (maybe went F2P at one point), so I'd only try it on Stadia if I couldn't get it running on my computer.

If Cyberpunk 2077 comes to Stadia and it doesn't work on my computer via some means, I would definitely consider giving Stadia a shot instead of defaulting to the PS4 version. The Witcher 3 had the same graphics on PC and PS4, but I am suspecting that won't be the case with Cyberpunk, so I'd rather experience the PC version.

What are you even talking about? Witcher 3 on PS4 looks more like Witcher 1 on PC. Even on PS4 pro. Textures are lower, everything is more blurry, detailed rendering distance is super low on PS4 Pro, Shaders that make the materials like clothes look excellent on PC are not there, Shadows are much weaker on PS4 and distant effects, like smoke, mist etc are all lower detailed... there are more ofc. but its quite night and day imo

what's the crew about?? It's like an open world game where you do heists like GTA V? I have no idea... or it's a racing game?? I already have lots of racing games in my backlog to play, haven't had time to play dirt 2.0 and F1 2019 yet (both work fine on proton) if it's a racing game I think I'll pass.

Monopoly is a game I really, REALLY need to stream, because my local PC won't be able to render it! Hey, who cares what a total waste of energy and network resources that is, anyway! I am just glad that it's FINALLY there!!! How did people ever play computer Monopoly without having access to multi-Teraflops computing power?

Oh...wait...

Kotaku, reporting on a Business Insider article, recently reported that Indie devs are largely avoiding Stadia owing to concern for Google's long term commitment to the platform and lack of any real financial incentive.

Personally, I'm all but convinced that Stadia is going to end up on the Google junk heap with all of Google's other "exciting new" gewgaws and whatsits of yesteryear.

I knew I'd trigger someone. Looks more like Witcher 1? Have you even played Witcher 1?! Don't be absurd. https://youtu.be/1fUGFmmikn4

That video you linked is probably not running on max settings even, but still ther's a difference.. yeah Witcher 1 comparsion was oversaturated, but the difference really is night and day, i have seen both versions (on PS4 pro and on PC) in real life :)

Here more acurate what the difference is:
