I'm planning to get a Mac computer soon (a Mac Mini specifically), are they stable (in terms of system stability) and good (usable)?

I currently own a very weak laptop (with a Celeron processor and running Windows 10) that I was planning to install Linux on it, but I think that getting a Mac may be better for me because this laptop is unusably slow when connected to the internet. (Probably because of forced Windows Updates).

I cannot answer the question about Mac, but Linux often boosts computers. As weaker the hardware as bigger the gain. There are a lot of people that were going to put their hardware on trash, but Linux spend it new lifetime. Trying costs nothing.
