Blast Brigade vs. the Evil Legion of Dr. Cread from Allods Team Arcade and publisher MY.GAMES has recently been confirmed as getting a Linux version.

Ready to blast your way through another colourful action adventure? Blast Brigade vs. the Evil Legion of Dr. Cread sounds like it will be pretty sweet, even though that name is a tad on the long-winded side and not exactly easy to remember.

"Prevent the doomsday in Blast Brigade, a colorful 2D action-adventure. The game is inspired by popcorn action movies from the 80s and combines metroidvania exploration with the bullet mayhem of run’n’gun platformers. Build a team of charismatic playable characters, upgrade your weapons, explore beautiful locations around the tainted paradise and save the world from the mad scientist!"

Speaking on the official Steam forum, the developer mentioned on May 12:

Quick update! Good news everyone!

We can now safely say that we are indeed working on a Linux port. It wont be available straight at launch however, but, we will try to have it out as soon as we can after.

Looks like a whole lot of fun. As usual, you can count on us to keep you updated on the release.

Interested? You can follow it on Steam.
