By - | Views: 15,088

Want to help good causes and get some awesome games at the same time? The Jingle Jam 2021 Games Collection is live for another year with plenty to love.

This is a yearly fundraising event is hosted by members of Yogscast (and friends), and this is the biggest yet with 14 charities supported and covers everything from national to global issues including disabled access to gaming and sport, cancer research, tackling structural racism and inequalities, LGBTQ+ issues, environmentalism and sustainability.

With 56 games worth approximately £650 ($875), it can be yours by donating £35 / $47.

"Every year, the Jingle Jam demonstrates how content creators and their communities can have a powerful impact on causes they're passionate about,” said Michael Wasserman, CEO of Tiltify. “Once again, Tiltify is proud to be the fundraising platform for the event. None of this would be possible without the humbling generosity of the gaming industry, and the amazing job Yogscast has done to create a truly epic Jingle Jam games collection.”

“Developers and publishers have been incredibly generous this year - the value of the games collection is immense,” said Lewis Brindley, co-founder of The Yogscast. “Wildermyth and Just Die Already, two of my favourite games released this year, are worth it on their own but there’s another 54 great games. I’m delighted to have such a cool reward for those kind enough to donate to charity!”

There's so many goodies including:

  • Barony
  • Disc Room
  • Northgard
  • Surviving Mars
  • Unrailed!
  • Wildermyth
  • + Lots more

I don't consider it charity then. I'd better donate somewhere else.

Protecting minorities is good until it becomes overkill

Hey now, don't lump all of us rednecks in there! I voted against that foul-mouthed, ornery idjit! (spelling intentional) No one should ever be as rude as that fella. He obviously hasn't ever read the Good Book outside of a sermon and most likely is one of those guys the preacher has to wake up!

Anyone who can claim to believe the word of that Nikita Khrushchev wannabe Putin (You'd be hard pressed to find any American born before the collapse of the Soviet Union who actually does) because it's politically expedient doesn't have the USA's best interests at heart.

Not that I don't have the same suspicion of the PRC, mind you. I maintain a healthy distrust of any non-democratic nation with Republic in its name. Also, Jinping's actions against all three Abrahamic religions, Taiwan, and Tibet (Ever since I learned its history in high school, I consider it to be independent.) turn my stomach.

Kim, don't get me started. My uncle was at Chosin Reservoir. I could write a doggone book!

That self-serving quasi-populist Trump cozy-ed up to all three. Unless he needed brownie points with voters who understand that these are the enemies of all that is just in the world. Then he couldn't condemn their actions fast enough. Only to turn around and be buddies with 'em the next day.
