Quick tip - GOG and Amazon Prime Gaming have teamed up to give subscribers an offer they can't refuse - another free game! Get a copy of Stellaris from Paradox Interactive / Paradox Development Studios.

How to get it? Easy. Just head over to Prime Gaming and click the Games header, then you will see that you can redeem Stellaris on GOG. The offer is open until March 1 and the deal is open to any region that is available with GOG, so you should be good to go. Always nice to get another free game and Stellaris is one where you can happily sink 100s of hours into even without any DLC.

For those who don't mind using the Wine compatibility layer directly they also have World War Z: Aftermath from the Epic Store (you can use Heroic for that on Linux!), plus Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order on Origin (Lutris support incoming).

They do, but lately they've also been giving Gog, Epic and Origin keys.

Nice, I had no idea.

This is good news and I have claimed the key! On a related note the Amazon Games Client doesn't seem to work at all for me on Linux at the moment, crashing after about 30 seconds.

True. But you can install the Twitch App through Lutris and with some fiddling you can make it show your library instead of pointing you to the Amazon app.

What is Amazon Prime Gaming, is it another game streaming service like Stadia?

Right, I've installed the Twitch app and my accounts are already linked. Could you please explain how to make the Twitch app show the games? Thanks :-)

When you click on the games tab, you see a short flash. That is your games library. Click one very quickly and install it. Once you have one installed, it won't switch away from it and you'll have normal access.

It feels kind of strange to realize there are people out there who would be into the kinds of thing Stellaris is (strategic SF sort of stuff) who don't in fact already have it.

Need to become a member apparently, which means it isn't free, and they can feck off.
